Volleyball Recap: Novi Beats Belleville for Their Third Straight Win + How To Watch

Novi won the last time they faced Belleville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers. The win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on three straight.

One reason for the win was Novi's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-13, 25-10.

Novi can attribute much of their success to Mallory Stoy, who had 14 digs and one assist. Alli Villanueva also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Novi was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive matchups.

Novi's record now sits at 7-5. As for Belleville, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Novi will be taking part in a tournament against Stoney Creek at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Belleville, they are taking a road trip to face off against Dearborn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
