Lamont White Jr leads a balanced attack to beat Sierra Vista

The Marquez Gladiators entered their tilt with the Sierra Vista Dons with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Marquez walked away with a 55-46 win over Sierra Vista on Wednesday.
Marquez got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lamont White Jr out in front who scored 16 points along with four steals. White Jr has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Cravon Charles was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
Marquez is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Sierra Vista, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marquez will take on Maywood Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Maywood Academy is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Sierra Vista, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Workman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
