Lebanon won the last time they faced Waynesville, and Antwon Givens did his part to make sure it happened again. The Lebanon Yellowjackets came out on top in a nail-biter against the Waynesville Tigers on Monday, sneaking past 51-48 thanks to Givens, who went 6-for-11 en route to 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Coffman, who posted seven points. He is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played.

Lebanon's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 7-16. As for Waynesville, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

Lebanon and Waynesville could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. Lebanon will take on Kickapoo at 7:30 p.m. on Friday down 249 places (253 vs. 4). Lebanon is no doubt hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. Similarly, Waynesville (ranked 332nd) will meet Glendale (ranked 106th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
