Football Recap: Atlantic's Undefeated Season over After Ten Games

If Atlantic was riding high fresh off their 48-18 takedown of Eau Gallie last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles took a hard 31-14 fall against the West Boca Raton Bulls on Thursday. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Pedro Martinez threw for 89 yards and two TDs. Mark Hanniford was his top target, picking up 33 receiving yards.

Leading West Boca Raton to victory were Javian Mallory and Trey Moran. Mallory gained 239 total yards and three touchdowns, while Moran rushed for 71 yards and one score on only five carries. With that strong performance, Mallory is now averaging an impressive 104.6 rushing yards per game.

Having lost for the first time this season, Atlantic fell to 9-1. As for West Boca Raton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

As of now, neither Atlantic nor the Bulls have any future games scheduled.
