Bridgeport's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Coen Brinker, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 22 points. Brinker is becoming a predictor of Bridgeport's success: when he posts at least 15 points the team is undefeated (and 3-12 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Jackson, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 14 points and five rebounds.

Bridgeport's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Southern, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.

Bridgeport didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-36 defeat against Barnesville on the 14th. As for Southern, they have also already played their next game, a 67-50 loss against East Palestine on the 12th.
