Basketball Game Preview: Arundel Wildcats vs. North County Knights

The Arundel Wildcats will square off against the North County Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arundel knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully North County likes a good challenge.

Arundel is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Meade just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 75-55.

Meanwhile, North County entered their tilt with Annapolis on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 59-52.

North County pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points per game. As for Arundel, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7.

Arundel took their win against North County when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 72-50. Will Arundel repeat their success, or does North County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
