The Mountain View Lobos''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 69-13 loss at the hands of Monahans. Mountain View was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-7.
Although Mountain View took the loss, they still got scores from Christopher Mendoza and Erick Dominguez.
Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Monahans, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Mountain View will be playing in front of their home fans against Pecos at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Johnny Morales and Alejandro Lerma. As for Monahans, they will head out on the road to face off against Clint at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Clint: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Monahans has snatched up nine consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.
