While Rancho Bernardo's victory against Scripps Ranch wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Broncos narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Falcons 4-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.

Rancho Bernardo saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jenalyn Buan, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. That double was Buan's first of the season.

Rancho Bernardo's record now sits at 11-4. As for Scripps Ranch, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6-1.

Rancho Bernardo and Scripps Ranch will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Broncos will challenge rival Del Norte at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Scripps Ranch is set to face off against their familiar foe Patrick Henry at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
