Basketball Game Preview: Ipswich Tigers vs. Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders

Ipswich is a perfect 4-0 against Sunshine Bible Academy since February of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Ipswich Tigers will head out to take on the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Ipswich's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.

Ipswich is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Aberdeen Christian 59-17 on Tuesday. The Tigers have beaten the Knights the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Knights has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Sunshine Bible Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-51 heartbreaker at the hands of Iroquois/Lake Preston.

Sunshine Bible Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Ipswich, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Ipswich was able to grind out a solid win over Sunshine Bible Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 44-32. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ipswich since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
