Basketball Game Preview: Miles Bulldogs vs. Gruver Greyhounds

The Miles Bulldogs and the Gruver Greyhounds will meet in a dog eat dog contest on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Miles is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 52-51 victory over Whiteface. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by just one point.

Meanwhile, Gruver made easy work of Floydada on Friday and carried off a 62-41 win. The Greyhounds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Miles has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points over those games. The victory made it two in a row for Gruver and bumps their season record up to 18-1.
