Softball Recap: Waterloo Wins Going Away Against Romulus

Waterloo barely beat Romulus the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 17-3 victory on Saturday. The matchup marked the Tigers' most dominant win of the season so far.

The victory was the third in a row for Waterloo, bringing their record up to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Romulus, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waterloo will square off against Geneva at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Romulus, they will face off against Red Jacket at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
