Soccer Recap: Chesnee Comes Up Short

If Chesnee was riding high fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Union County last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Chesnee took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chapman Panthers on Friday. Chesnee haven't had much luck with Chapman recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Chesnee's loss dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Chapman, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Chesnee will head out to face off against Landrum at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chesnee's defense better be ready for this one: Landrum has averaged an impressive 2.8 goals per game this season. As for Chapman, they will be playing at home against Union County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
