Volleyball Recap: Davidson Fine Arts Titans vs. Greenbrier Wolfpack
Davidson Fine Arts kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Greenbrier Wolfpack. The Titans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolfpack from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.
The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-14.
Brooklyn Moss paced Davidson Fine Arts' offense, picking up two kills. Moss got some help from Margot Rychly and her two assists. Evelyn Shaw controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Greenbrier can attribute much of their success to Sam Wanamaker, who had six aces and three digs.
Greenbrier pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
Davidson Fine Arts wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Harlem on the 7th. As for Greenbrier, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Statesboro at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
