Prairie Ridge put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Crystal Lake Central Tigers a 2-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-0 back in April.

Prairie Ridge pushed their record up to 22-1-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Crystal Lake Central, they moved to 19-6 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.
