Softball Game Preview: Peaster Greyhounds vs. Comanche Indians

The Peaster Greyhounds will head out on the road to face off against the Comanche Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Peaster will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Peaster and Tolar had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Greyhounds walked away with a 17-14 win over the Rattlers on Friday.

Meanwhile, Comanche unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of Early by a score of 4-3.

Peaster pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Comanche, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.

Peaster was able to grind out a solid victory over Comanche when the teams last played back in March, winning 6-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Greyhounds since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
