Flag Football Recap: East Jackson's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

The East Jackson Eagles ended up a good deal behind the North Forsyth Raiders on Wednesday and lost 23-6. The loss was the Eagles' first of the season.

North Forsyth was led to victory by Emma Bailey and Mia Fowler. Bailey threw for 173 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of her passes, while Fowler gained 131 total yards and a touchdown. Those 173 passing yards gave Bailey a new career-high.

East Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for North Forsyth, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, East Jackson will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Cedar Shoals at 5:30 p.m. The Jaguars' defense has only allowed 6.8 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for North Forsyth, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 28-0 win against East Forsyth on the 8th.
