Basketball Recap: Southlake Carroll Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Southlake Carroll saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Waxahachie Indians by a score of 56-46.

Despite the loss, Waxahachie still got an impressive performance from Kamarie Hardeman, who went 5 for 8 on her way to 17 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Bizzell, who posted ten points and three steals.

Southlake Carroll has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points per game. As for Waxahachie, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7.

Southlake Carroll will head out to challenge Keller at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waxahachie, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on DeSoto at 6:00 p.m. on December 17th. Waxahachie is facing DeSoto at the right time seeing as DeSoto is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
