When it comes to explaining why Carlson lost, one person who can't be blamed is Joshua Anderson. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points along with five rebounds. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Lavis, who scored six points.
Edsel Ford's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-6. As for Carlson, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-6.
