Softball Recap: Pieper Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Braunfels, Pieper was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Wagner Thunderbirds an 11-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Thunderbirds: they've now won six in a row.

Pieper's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Wagner, they dropped their record down to 4-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pieper is set to take on their familiar foe Tivy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wagner will challenge rival New Braunfels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
