Spirit Lake had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Algona Bulldogs by a score of 61-53 on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Spirit Lake's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Algona, their loss dropped their record down to 21-4.

Coming up, Spirit Lake will challenge Wahlert on March 3rd. Spirit Lake knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Wahlert likes a good challenge. Algona does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
