Basketball Recap: Christiansburg Takes a Loss

Christiansburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hidden Valley Titans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Demons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-37 back in December of 2024.

Christiansburg's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Hidden Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christiansburg will venture away from home to take on Patrick Henry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hidden Valley, they will head out to square off against George Wythe at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
