Volleyball Recap: Hills-Beaver Creek Comes Up Short

Hills-Beaver Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Luverne Cardinals. The Patriots were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cardinals from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Hills-Beaver Creek's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Luverne, their win bumped their record up to an identical 8-11.

Looking ahead, Hills-Beaver Creek will venture away from home to take on Westbrook-Walnut Grove at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Luverne, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Redwood Valley on the 4th.
