Football Recap: Hopewell Valley Central Falls to Montgomery in First Game of Season

Hopewell Valley Central unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 35-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Montgomery Cougars on Friday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Looking ahead, Hopewell Valley Central will challenge Robbinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Montgomery, they will face off against Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
