Basketball Recap: Earlham Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ogden last Friday, Earlham came back down to earth. The Earlham Cardinals took a 57-38 bruising from the Des Moines Christian Lions on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-58 back in January.

Earlham dropped their record down to 13-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Des Moines Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

Earlham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Des Moines Christian, they will square off against Indianola at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
