Baseball Recap: Mount Everett Regional Wins Going Away Against Mccann Tech

Mount Everett Regional never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against the McCann Tech Hornets as they made off with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Sean Warren was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Jacob Kreis was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Mount Everett Regional's success: when he posts at least three hits the team is undefeated (and 5-6 when he doesn't). Brodie Kinna was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one double.

Mount Everett Regional always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as McCann Tech only posted an OBP of .300.

The victory made it two in a row for Mount Everett Regional and bumps their season record up to 9-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for McCann Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.

As of now, neither Mount Everett Regional nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
