Animo South Los Angeles barely beat Los Angeles Academy of Arts & Enterprise the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 22-11 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won three games by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Animo South Los Angeles pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Los Angeles Academy of Arts & Enterprise, they moved to 4-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Animo South Los Angeles will head out to challenge Animo Robinson at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Monarchs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Los Angeles Academy of Arts & Enterprise, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Middle College at 3:00 p.m. on the 21st.
