Volleyball Recap: Walther Christian Academy Find Success

Walther Christian Academy won the last time they faced Cristo Rey Jesuit and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Broncos had just enough and edged out the Cristeros 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Broncos.

Walther Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-23, 25-18.

Matthew Leonard was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had 13 digs and two aces. Those 13 digs gave him a new career-high.

Walther Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Cristo Rey Jesuit, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3-1.
