Baseball Recap: Poteet Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Poteet Aggies didn't have quite enough to beat the Cole Cougars and fell 15-13.

Poteet's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10-1. As for Cole, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-9.

Poteet will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Jourdanton at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Cole, they will square off against Canyon Lake at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cole has given up an average of 6.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
