Basketball Recap: El Camino Comes Up Short

El Camino was the 60-55 winner over Galileo when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Colts fell just short of the Lions by a score of 51-49 on Saturday.

Galileo was led to victory by Nathan Lee and Andres Villalobos. Lee shot 55% from the field to rack up 20 points, while Villalobos posted 12 points and five boards. With that strong performance, Lee is now averaging an impressive 15.6 points per game. Chris Lim also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assists of the season.

El Camino's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Galileo, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. El Camino will head out to take on Arroyo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Galileo will take on Lowell in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
