Volleyball Recap: Denver North Comes Up Short

Denver North lost against Ignacio back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings fell 2-0 to the Bobcats. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-11.

Summer Treiber paced Denver North's offense, picking up four kills. Treiber were helped by Morelia Rodriguez and Rory McIntyre, who contributed five assists each. McIntyre and Treiber didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Denver North's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Ignacio, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Coincidentally, Denver North and Ignacio will both be playing Poudre the next time they take the court. The Bobcats will host the Impalas at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Vikings will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
