Baseball Recap: Gleason Takes a Loss

Gleason was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dresden Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 9-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Gleason saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Morgan, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Gleason's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Dresden, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

While Gleason had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
