Baseball Recap: Rhinebeck Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Rhinebeck's offense. They fell just short of the Our Lady of Lourdes Warriors by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Hawks have suffered since April 17, 2024.

Rhinebeck saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sawyer Giles, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Rhinebeck's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Our Lady of Lourdes, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-8.

Looking ahead, Rhinebeck will venture away from home to take on Hudson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Our Lady of Lourdes, they will welcome Rondout Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
