Basketball Recap: New London Takes a Loss

If New London was riding high fresh off their 74-52 takedown of Green Bay East last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The New London Bulldogs might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Ashwaubenon Jaguars an easy 81-56 victory. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 227th, while the Jaguars are ranked 41st).

New London's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Ashwaubenon, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

New London will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Clintonville at 6:00 p.m. on December 30th. New London knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Clintonville likes a good challenge. Ashwaubenon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
