Basketball Recap: Peoria Triumphs

Peoria lost to Moline back in December of 2015, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Lions came out on top against the Maroons by a score of 70-57. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Peoria's victory bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Moline, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Peoria will venture away from home to take on Manual at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Moline, they will head out to face off against Alleman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
