Volleyball Recap: Topeka Comes Up Short

Topeka lost against Hays back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-1.

The 2-1 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Topeka lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 20-25, 25-22.

Topeka dropped their record down to 10-16-1 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Hays, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season.

Topeka wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Abilene on the 18th. Hays has also already played their next matchup (against Dodge City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
