Baseball Recap: Waller Takes a Loss

Waller was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cypress Woods Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Tuesday.

Waller's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Cypress Woods, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-2.

Coming up, Waller will take on Cypress Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cypress Woods, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Langham Creek at 7:00 p.m. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lobos have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
