Baseball Recap: Maple Valley Comes Up Short

Maple Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Union City Chargers, falling 11-2. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Maple Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Union City, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Maple Valley has already played their next contest (against Homer), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Union City, they have also already played their next matchup, an 11-10 defeat against Sand Creek on the 19th.
