Baseball Game Preview: Meridian Hawks vs. Tuscola Warriors

The Meridian Hawks will head out to challenge the Tuscola Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meridian has given up an average of 11.7 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meridian fell victim to Warrensburg-Latham and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Cardinals, falling 20-0. The Hawks have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Tuscola came up short against Clinton on Wednesday and fell 5-1.

Meridian's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Tuscola, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.
