Volleyball Game Preview: Sullivan Redskins vs. Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos

The Sullivan Redskins will face off against the Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Sullivan is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Knights.

Meanwhile, Cerro Gordo/Bement came up short against Unity Christian on Tuesday and fell 2-0. The Broncos have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11.

Cerro Gordo/Bement's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Sullivan, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

Sullivan was able to grind out a solid victory over Cerro Gordo/Bement when the teams last played on Thursday, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redskins since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
