While Attleboro didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They skirted past the Seekonk Warriors 2-1. The two-run effort marked the Bombardiers' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Ryan Landry looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Attleboro saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Landers, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Those RBI were Landers' first of the season.

Attleboro has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Seekonk, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Attleboro will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
