Soccer Recap: Elkmont's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tanner, Elkmont was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the East Limestone Indians a 2-0 shutout. The win was some much needed relief for the Red Devils as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The victory got Elkmont back to even at 7-7. As for East Limestone, they dropped their record down to 4-6-1 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elkmont will welcome Ardmore at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. East Limestone will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Brooks at 7:00 p.m. on April 1st.
