Baseball Recap: Kimball Comes Up Short

Kimball was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 12-1 to the Lincoln Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-3 last Monday.

Kimball saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dawson Pelech, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Kimball's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Lincoln, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

While Kimball had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
