If Blount wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Spanish Fort, they should've done a better job of containing Justin 'JuJu' Bonner. The Toros strolled past the Leopards with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 41-22 for which the team can thank Bonner, who rushed for 136 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 64 receiving yards and one TD. He is becoming a predictor of Spanish Fort's success: when he posts at least 100 rushing yards the team is 3-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Spanish Fort didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Henry Perryman and Tykwon 'Trelan' Thomas. Thomas got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

When it comes to explaining why Blount lost, don't look at Naheem Thomas. Despite the final result, he picked up 82 receiving yards and one score.

Spanish Fort now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Blount, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
