Crandall gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 30-27 win over the Mt. Pleasant Tigers.

Crandall found their leader in underclassman Jeremiah Douglas, who picked up 256 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Douglas' longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards.

Crandall will challenge Hallsville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will take on Lindale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
