Football Recap: Watertown Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Watertown's offense. They had to suffer through a 39-0 loss at the hands of the Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets. If the Cyclones were looking for revenge after losing 49-0 to the Hornets when the teams met back in September of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Watertown's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Fayetteville-Manlius, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Watertown will head out to square off against Fulton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fayetteville-Manlius, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Corcoran at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
