Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Central Piles Up the Points Against Clay

While St. Joseph Central didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Clay Panthers 63-29 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Flyers also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

St. Joseph Central's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Clay, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

St. Joseph Central and Eastern will face off at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Clay, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against West Union at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
