Football Recap: Royal Palm Beach Takes a Loss

Royal Palm Beach was the 25-23 winner over Dr. Joaquin Garcia when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats and the Bulldogs were almost perfectly matched up on Thursday, but the Wildcats suffered a 27-26 loss.

Among those leading the charge was Caleb Butler, who threw for 226 yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 50 yards. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024. Dr. Joaquin Garcia's leading receiver Vincent Lewis was Butler's top target yet again, picking up 96 receiving yards and one score.

Royal Palm Beach has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

As of now, neither Royal Palm Beach nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
