 Newark Catholic proved they can win big  on Friday (they won by ten) but  in Saturday's  first game they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bishop Hartley Hawks  and snuck past  7-5. The  victory was nothing new for Newark Catholic as they're now sitting on three straight.
  Kylie Gibson was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, a  triple,  and a  double. Another player making a difference was  Emma Lohri, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 On Bishop Hartley's side,  Morgan Bailey was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and four  RBI.
 Newark Catholic now  has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Bishop Hartley, they now  have a losing record at 2-3.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Newark Catholic beat Bishop Hartley by a score of  25-2 later that day.
