Softball Recap: Making Waves Academy Marlins vs. California School for the Deaf Eagles
Making Waves Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell victim to a rough 26-6 defeat at the hands of the California School for the Deaf Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Making Waves Academy of the 13-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
For California School for the Deaf's part, Julianna Hammons made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned run or hits.
