Basketball Recap: Eagle Pass Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Eagle Pass and Del Rio, and Del Rio kept the tradition alive. The Eagles took a 62-44 bruising from the Rams on Friday. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 58-33 to the Rams when the teams met back in February of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Eagle Pass now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Del Rio, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 17-6 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Eagle Pass will take on rival Medina Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Del Rio is set to square off against their familiar foe Laredo LBJ at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
